Jane Toner is an Architect, Regenerative Design Consultant and Australiaâs first certified Biomimicry Professional. Jane has a firm belief that nature has the answers to developing innovative sustainable design solutions that are environmentally regenerative, socially just and joyous. Having worked for over a decade in Sustainability Consulting, she was drawn to Biomimicry as an example of âextreme sustainability, to the maxâ.
Jane is a facilitator of the Melbourne Living Futures Collaborative, the founder of Biomimicry Australia and a core member of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) Sustainable Architectâs Forum. She has provided sustainable design advice for a wide range of built environment projects that include: ecotourism, masterplanning, commercial offices, education facilities, multi-residential projects and sporting facilities.
Jane is passionate about going outside, quietly contemplating natureâs genius and drawing on that wisdom to create innovative design solutions that are conducive to all life.
