Lilian Dart is a PhD student in Geography at the University of Toronto, where her research focuses on environmental justice and participation in environmental decision-making within Canada. With a strong academic foundation spanning both the sciences and social sciences, her previous work has explored community-based conservation, community health, and housing policy. This breadth of experience enables Lilian to approach her research through multiple lenses, drawing from a variety of fields and methodologies. Alongside her doctoral work, Lilian is actively engaged in other human-environment research, contributing to projects on faith-based environmentalism, commons and commoning, and biodiversity policy.
