Marc Barra is an ecologist at the Regional Agency for Biodiversity in Paris Region (formerly Natureparif) in France, within the Institute of Planning and Urban Development of the Île-de-France. Graduate in ecological engineering from Paris-Saclay University, he is particularly interested in urban ecology and solutions to integrate biodiversity at the city, district and building scales. He is in charge of research projects such as an assessment of the biodiversity of green roofs in the Ile de France and a study on the costs of green and gray infrastructures.
