Dr. Mitchell Pavao-Zuckerman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, and with the Cluster for Sustainability in the Built Environment at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is an ecologist studying the interactions of decision making, design, and environmental change on ecosystem processes in urban landscapes, and collaborates with local governments, designers, and community groups to support sustainability and resilience outcomes for cities.
