Monica Luengo is an art historian and landscape architect, honorary member of the International Scientific Committee of Cultural Landscapes (ICOMOS-IFLA), former director of the master course on Cultural and Natural Heritage: innovation, research, Universidad Internacional de Andalucía. Lecturer at universities, as well as seminars and congresses in Spain and internationally, on cultural landscapes and their management, cultural tourism, cultural landscapes and world heritage, historic gardens, international legislation, and agrarian landscapes. She has published books and articles on cultural landscapes and Spanish historic gardens. Founding partner of ATP Arquitectura, Territorio y Paisaje, a firm dedicated to projects for public and private historic gardens and cultural landscapes, landscaping projects for parks and gardens, and restoration of urban centres. Independently, she has worked as a consultant for public and private institutions; her works include historic research, projects, or consultancy in World Heritage nominations. Member of the Instituto de Estudios Madrileños.
