Osvaldo Moreno Flores is an architect who graduated from the Universidad de Chile in 2003 and earned his MSc. in Landscape, Environment and City in 2006. He is currently a PhD candidate in Architecture and Urbanism at the National University of La Plata. He has worked as professor for the Master in Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and as visiting professor for the Master in Sustainable Development, FLACAM, UNESCO Chair. He has also worked as professor for the Advanced Planning Program, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, University of Chile and as Director of the School of Landscape Architecture at the Central University of Chile between 2010 and 2012. His research focuses on issues of landscape planning, green infrastructure, and urban resilience. His professional activities have included planning, design, and management of urban and regional projects, landscape architecture, green infrastructure, sustainable mobility, housing, equipment, and tourism projects in urban and rural contexts.
