Praneeta Mudaliar is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Natural Resources Policy and Stewardship at the Department of Geography, Geomatics, and Environment at the University of Toronto Mississauga, Canada. Praneetaâs interdisciplinary social scientific research and teaching spans across the commons and collective action, climate justice and climate policy, and decolonizing conservation for advancing social justice and environmental sustainability. She has conducted cross-national empirical research on community-based watershed management in the United States U.S. and India, and Lake Victoriaâs polycentric fisheries system in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
