Thandeka Tshabalala is a professional officer in the Climate Change, Energy and Resilience work stream at ICLEI Africa. At ICLEI she is involved in implementing the Urban-LEDS II, Urban Natural Assets: Rivers for Life (UNA Rivers) and Reflecting Cities projects. She has experience implementing informal settlement upgrading projects with the South African affiliate of Slum Dwellers International (SDI). Her expertise lies in urban infrastructure and planning, sustainable urban systems, network and relationship building, and on-the-ground project implementation.
