Toby Kent is metropolitan Melbourneās Chief Resilience Officer. In this role he has worked across Melbourneās 32 councils, in partnership with the Victorian Government, and many other stakeholders to create the first metropolitan-wide strategy for Melbourne that has been led by local government. A flagship action within the Resilient Melbourne strategy is the creation of a metropolitan urban forest. This will see Melbourne better protecting and enhancing our natural resources to support āCity Services, Healthy Humans, and Abundant Natureā. Prior to joining Resilient Melbourne, Toby worked with leading Melbourne businesses, including MMG mining corporation and ANZ bank, where he was Head of Sustainable Development. Toby has a Masterās Degree in Urbanization (Housing and Social Change) from the London School of Economics.
